ESPN’s Top 25 players in the SEC

ESPN has released their Top 25 players in the SEC for 2011. Chris Low and Edward Aschoff tag teamed the list.  Alabama running back Trent Richardson topped the list. The rest of the list is listed below.

Compiling these lists is no easy chore. Here are my thoughts: 1. I would have Honey Badger above Claiborne. He turned around both the game against #3 Arkansas and the SEC title game with big punt returns. Courtney Upshaw cannot be ahead of Melvin Ingram or Jarvis Jones. Upshaw was awesome, but Ingram and Jones were All-Americans. It is hard for me to see the All-SEC QB only 17th on the list. Wilson deserves better. His record-setting performance against A&M saved the Arkansas season.
