We all know Bobby Petrino is an intense coach and many non-Razorback fans love to poke fun, but those who paid attention this year clearly saw a different side of Petrino as he eulogized Garrett Uekman. Petrino is going to be synonymous with Arkansas. With a buyout just shy of $18 million, Petrino is not going anywhere. All that said, I was able to do something at the Cotton Bowl that is not easy to do: get photos of an elated Petrino smiling. Enjoy!

It is great to see Bobby smile. He is a great coach and leader for our kids up on the hill. He represents our university as well…no…better than any coach ever has. Congratulations Bobby on a great year. You earned it…You deserve it.
thanks bobby go hogs go
As an Arkansan living in Kansas, I was elated to win the Cotton Bowl. I am equally proud of our Coach coming out and giving credit to K-State for playing a good game. I’ve watched every news story up here in Kansas. Not one time has their coach or players complemented the Razorbacks on playing a good game. All they have said is that they were not ready/prepared for the game … and that they lost the game due to their own mistakes. Hey Kansas, let’s try to show a ‘little’ good sportsmanship, huh?
Taking time to talk about Garret during the on field post game interview was as classy as it gets.
