This bread dip is popular with men and women.
I happen to think dips are the perfect tailgate food and this dip (from Peter Crow) is sure to be a crowd pleaser at your next tailgate party! It is not only delicious, but it is sure to impress when you show up with it in a bread bowl!
Bread Dip
2 cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
8 ounces Sour Cream
8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
1 jar of Hormel Real Bacon Bits
Sourdough Bread Bowl. Actually, an unsliced loaf size works best.
Hollow out the bread loaf. Use the cut out portion for dipping back into the dip. Mix cheese, sour cream and bacon bits. Soften cream cheese and mix it in. But mixture into the bread bowl and wrap with aluminum foil. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake about 10- 15 more minutes. You do not want it to burn, so keep an eye on it. Toast the bread pieces and serve alongside your dip for dipping!
