A Dr. Lou sighting means it must be Thursday night college football on ESPN!
ESPN has nicely carved out a niche with Thursday night college football games. I get fatigued by games on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but Thursday night it still a total blast. It hearkens back to college days when the weekend started on Thursday. We get 14 full weekends of college football, so starting that joy on Thursday only seems logical. Plus, a weekly visit from Dr. Lou is always good for an old Chinese proverb or pep talk.
Here is EPSN’s Thursday night college football schedule for 2011. The announcers during the 2010 season for the ESPN Thursday night telecasts were Rece Davis, Jesse Palmer, Craig James, and Jenn Brown. All times are central.
